My art field trip
I went to an art studio with my girl scout troop ,the first part was boring because some guy was talking about architechture but then we got to do origami which was super fun. I made a swan. After that we got to make pots out of clay so cool! Then we made butterflies out of wire. I thought my butterfly was weird looking but I thought it was a cool idea. Overall I thought the art studio was cool and I would recommend other people to go experience it.

I live in the midwest and many of the bigger towns around here were boom towns due to mining. Because of that there are a lot of houses with interesting architecture in the old parts of those cities. While I am not even a novice with architecture I do love looking at the different styles that people have used. It is like 3D art.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the next time you drive through town you can look at some of the houses and try to identify some of their similarities and differences. You may be surprised how easily you can date parts of the city by the style of the houses!
